I was left to my own devices when the Nurse from my GP practice gave me the news that I was pre diabetic. She did not then signpost me to useful resources; she told me to come back in a year for another blood test.
The reality was that if I did not change what I was doing in a year, I would be type 2 diabetic. I did not want that because. That brings a whole host of health challenges. I was so frustrated with the lack of help. Sadly, the NHS is not designed for prevention. I took matters into my own hands and did research got help from a nutritionist. I got a PT. I did lots of desktop research. I found out how to reverse and I also found out you can reverse Type 2 diabetes. You need to change your lifestyle and your mindset to reverse pre diabetes.

Food swaps mean you can enjoy foods with a few tweaks; you do need to reset habits, and this can be done in many ways, one being habit stacking.
I will also introduce you to the concept of exercise snacks. We look at your values because when some days feel hard, it’s your values that will keep you going. Resetting habits needs consistency and not trying to change too many habits at once, which will just be too overwhelming.
Using this ebook, you will start making choices that will help you you will be empowered to make choices. When we make choices, we are more likely to keep them consistent. I will provide you with resources where you can find meals that suit your flavour profile, and you can start making healthy choices and still enjoy a glass of wine and chocolate.
